Works to Devoran Park ...
The Parish Council are delighted to announce that they have been awarded funding from Cory Environmental to carry out work in the park to improve access.
The works will take approximately two weeks and will start on Monday 26th October. The park will still be able to be used during the works.
This will provide the following:-
2 new bound gravel pathways from each of the pedestrian gateways which it is hoped will improve access to buggies and wheelchairs.
5 additional benches for seating, made from recycled materials, with fruit trees to give some shade
An additional picnic bench
Turf and grass mats at each side of the existing slide to help shore up and tidy up the bank
Stepping logs up the side of the existing slide for children to play on
