Parish traffic issues being investigated
The Council are currently working on several highways issues that have been highlighted to them by residents. One is pedestrian safety and the speed of vehicles on Greenbank Road in Devoran, the Council are working with Cormac to establish the options available to provide safer access for pedestrians and potentially slow down traffic.
The second issue is the parking of cars on the pavements in Forth Coth in Carnon Downs. The Parish Council have placed cones up the middle of the pavement to still allow cars to park on the pavement but only one wide, this still leaves room for pedestrians, pushchairs and residents in wheelchairs or mobility scooters to use the pavement without having to go out into the road. It is hoped that a public meeting will be held in June to discuss traffic problems in Carnon Downs, check back here for details.
