Roundwalks Day
Bringing the community together for Roundwalks Day!
15th Feb 2015
As well as running a community transport scheme, a Lengthsman Scheme AND a shared budgeting scheme for community groups (yes - the parish does a lot!), we are organising a Roundwalks Day for everyone to be a part of.
A Roundwalk is, as the name suggests, a walk that starts and finishes in the same place. So we've hired Carnon Downs Village Hall, and all walks will begin and end at this fantastic community asset.
All maps, guides and information will be provided on the day. You can register on or before the day - and the 20 first registrations get a free Roundwalks T-Shirt!!
There is the choice of 6 walks to complete. Varying between 40 minutes to an 1.5hrs. We're welcoming all ages and all abilities. If you have limited mobility we can suggest a route with fewer obstacles (styles etc).
We would be delighted if you could join us on the 15th. Registration on the day opens at 11am and closes at 2pm. We're hoping that all walks will be completed by 3pm.
We have invited the culinary genius of Pompier to supply food on the day - which we have subsidised.
